Picking Up Momentum - Spring Creek National

Rainfall and lightning storms in the Millville area on Saturday morning lead to a shift in the normal race day schedule for our Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM riders. As a result of the weather conditions, race officials canceled practice sessions and added a one-hour delay in the day's schedule. Lucky enough the sun finally came out and the rain stopped well before the start of the first moto leaving the track conditions sloppy as the riders trailed through the mud during both Moto’s.

Shane McElrath had his best finish thus far finishing 4th in Moto 1 and 5th in Moto 2 for a Top 5 Overall this weekend. After a broken collarbone at Hangtown putting him on the sidelines for most of the summer, Mitchell Falk made his debut back out on the starting line this weekend along with Sean Cantrell who had been healing up from his wrist injury that occurred during this past Supercross season. Mitchell had a strong showing this weekend with an 11th Place Overall for the day. Despite the weather conditions causing some unforeseen bike disruptions for some of our riders we are very excited to have everyone back and healthy racing and looking forward to keeping the momentum going at Washougal this upcoming weekend!
