OAKLAND (Jan 25, 2019) –
Monster Energy Supercross made its return to Oakland, CA Home to the Oakland Raiders this past weekend. Shane McElrath was off to a good start throughout the day in both practice and qualifying landing a P2 spot for the night show. Due to another rider crashing in the first turn during Heat 1, Shane went down causing him to have to work his way through majority of the pact in his heat to secure a spot in the main event. Finishing 6th and 7th in Heat 1 both Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/ KTM riders were able to make the Main Event line up.
